General Introduction

The term Street nipperren refer to Children who live on the streets, they are deprived of family care and protection and they are among the ages of five and seventeen years old. A street child have insufficient resources or income. In its most extreme point form, they are sometimes impoverished, lack basic human needs, such as adequate and nutritious foods, clothing, housing, clean water and admission price to proper health. Poor people especially teenagers are sometimes forced to do things which under different circumstances they would non have been done. Most of these persons end up participating in crime and violence in society.

The reason for selecting this theme is because I wanted to expose the difficulties faced by people reinforcement on the streets especially teenagers who have been negatively affected by poverty. The theme relates to the writers interest, resulting from the increasing capers and challenges faced by persons within his community. This theme is also interesting because persons who have been unheeded and left on the streets to fend for themselves due to poverty or other means, may no longer be displace aside when those persons who constantly neglect and reject them learn intimately the negative long term effects of street children.





The writers theme will be reflected under third major headings which are; the expository section, the reflective section and the uninflected section.

The expository section is an oral presentation which lasted for 10 minutes. The stem that the writer researched on was The negative effects of street children on the streets of Kingston The writer used three sources to obtain discipline for his research. Issues raised while researching were presented as well as the problem faced while sourcing information. Also during the presentation, the sources and information were evaluated for reliability and validity.
